#libcamera 0.7 really improved my camera experience on the OnePlus 6 running #postmarketOS edge.
Not only do the results look better, there's also no more 'take a picture, end up in crashdump' happening, which almost as important.
(I am using Plasma Camera with @nekocwd's cameractrl.)

@genofire I am sorry to have missed that one.
I am considering dropping the video section, anyway -
- the video section is hard to collect 'semi-automagically' (meaning without searching for a bunch of terms and selecting 'last week only' every single time), and
- there's so much slop now.
I suppose it's time to drop it, unless someone is willing to step up and take over the work.

@darkdragon IMHO the wiki page should only changed to "works" once you can just take an edge image, maybe install gnfc, and it works - everything else feels misleading, since the page statuses IMHO should represent the status of @postmarketOS one can get to without fully customizing the install and going beyond it. So if it's "if you compile and install this kernel from over there and this library from somewhere else, and then do this and that, then it works" it's a "partial". @pocketvj @okias

@darkdragon Here's the state on my OnePlus 6 (edge, without the patching suggested on the wiki (the linked patch is for fajita and does not apply):
(That said, on Pixel 3a (wiki also says partial), gNFC and neard basically work - installing the software and enabling/starting neard is enough).

@pi_crew You won't ever get DisplayPort output on the OnePlus 6(T), AFAIR Shift was one of the very few vendors to pay the extra design cost necessary for that feature on a sdm845 phone. (The other vendor I am aware of was Samsung for their non-Exynos S9 phones, sold in China and the US.) EDIT: Looks like the LG G7 supports it, too.
That said, once what we used to call OTG (but is not called OTG with Type C) works with OnePlus, using DisplayLink tech (like FuriLabs do) is an avenue to explore if you want external display support.
