clearly i was more interested in drawing clamp lights than the model
sold my spare bike to someone random on the internet. when he showed up to my house I realized we had seen each other naked during a life drawing party years ago. he didn’t have a phone back then which i found incredible. anyway now he has a bike I almost died on once, and I will probably never see him again. life is funny

@moss i have so many opinions on this subject, but basically I think affinity suite is the best adobe alternative at this point. if you have to use adobe for work I recommend pirating it if you can. it’s a little tricky but it can be done
also, lol, i absolutely hate using gimp and don’t think it’s professionally viable but i do use it sometimes for very basic tasks

@Longspeak@chirp.enworld.org i was young and very stupid and coming home blacked-out drunk from a party. middle of the night, no lights on my bike. I awoke from a blacked-out stupor to find myself on the ground in the middle of a forest road somewhere outside of town, no idea how i got there or how long i had been there. I got back on my bike and continued on, trying to find my way home tho i was lost with a dead phone. I do assume all kinds of bad things could have happened to me, but didn’t.

@bouncinglime oh that’s an interesting way to grow up around art world! I grew up going to art museums, galleries, etc, but never looked overly critically at it as a system until later. It’s so tempting to give in to chasing institutional approval as validation. but who are we seeking approval from, really? The biggest pocketbooks? why do we want that? I am not even 100% against it, parts of me still love art world, but it is hard to reconcile my politics with it

glad you’ve been appreciating them ! the book has been way more engrossing than I expected. I’ve read books *about* Jung’s theories but no direct source until now, was recommended to start with this one ! might go for the red book next?
