The cause of most of the UK/USA problems: “I'd rather hurt 9 needy people than help 1 cheat and I'm willing to spend more than helping all 10 to do it”.
If I ever get a yacht I'm going to name it the “Mr. Cunt”. The interactions with local harbours alone would make it worthwhile.

I recently left my 2nd job at a digital agency (multiple jobs pay the bills) and I need a new role: 20 years in IT, prior roles as a lead developer, skills in .Net/Node/React/NextJS/GraphQL. Anyone out there hiring right now? I need flexibility, so asking ~£40k a year/€45k equiv. 3 days a week (4 at a push), fully remote so I can do acting auditions and gigs when they come in. @robcornelius I have applied for several tech roles and heard nothing, not even a confirmation I sent an application. I reckon they were ghost roles: recruiters and companies just keeping an eye open for what the market's like and who's out there.

2/2 as a side note, the reporting of anti-trans activity in the UK has really taken a backseat recently. It's still there, just people care less. It feels like even once-allies (eg John Oliver) now want to concede 'it's complicated', and the Normals are way more focussed on other problems - of which in fairness there are plenty, but it is possible to be concerned about more than one thing 🤷♀️
