@DJDarren I just disregard any company that only has a FB page. Like you I suppose I understand the convenience for the business operator, but that is extremely myopic and excludes a significant percentage of potential customers. If they're not concerned with my patronage I'm fine going elsewhere.

This was a company who used to at least pretend to give a shit about their employees, then a new CEO and CTO decided that highly talented people who have given them their blood and sweat for years are expendable. At least they provided severance, but it was a heartbreaking slide to the bottom.

@geffrey sounds like my "damaged" GSD. Once she takes a long time (days/weeks) settling in she's mostly okay as long as it's just her people in close proximity. Other people set her on edge immediately, and she's nearly always on alert. I was told that she was yanked from her mother far too early and had zero socialization as a puppy. Pretty sure there was also some outright abuse involved. She's much better off than when I first adopted her, though. Best of luck with your boy. 💜

@IanHill@infosec.exchange glad I somewhat recently bought two cars, one several years older, and my partner's Subaru should last a long time. We're getting older and these *might* do it for us. If not we'll certainly buy older cars not affected by this Orwellian bullshit. Never would I submit to this horror story. Seems likely to me that the Incompetent Horsemen of the Apocalypse are trying to burn down the automotive industry along with everything else.
