August has been absolutely dreadful for my migraines and joint pain. Good riddance. It still didn't stop me from enjoying myself as much as possible. We do shit. With crutches, braces, compression garments, and emergency rescue meds as needed.

At the same time, our 15-year old dog has bad hips, is going blind, and has separation anxiety as a retired service dog. So she comes with us everywhere, and she has a dog stroller (meant for dogs) for when she's tired and sore. Our situation feels different. She's a standard schnauzer. So not tiny.

@vlpatton@transfem.social my partner has to do that everytime they shower. Finding anyone within a few hours' drive who can actually diagnose POTS is next to impossible here. We have a shower stool. I've used it on occasion when joint pain was bad. It's worth it.
