My PBS (proxmox backup server) sync fails to my offsite backup because it is over sshfs and doesn't reconnect if either side's internet flaps[0]. I thought this week I should get notifications to @healthchecks_io@fosstodon.org so I would know when it goes down to fix it. Test emails from PBS to myself weren't showing up, figured out I have notifications sending to my self, but I filtered them to a different folder a long time ago. 🤦‍♂️

I knew this was a problem, setup the notification for it, but ignored it because of too much noise.

[0] I should really just run a cron that re-mounts either when it is missing after 5 minutes....I'm sure that won't cause more problems.

I saw a post on r/rogers asking if a text message was a scam. I took the domain and check it against Hagezi's TIF, nope, Quad9? Nope. CIRA DNS? Detected!

Maybe CIRA has a better Canadian scam feed.
