This week Andy reviews Minions and Monsters, Enola Holmes 3, and Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie. Instead of a deep dive we dig into something a little different as Andy compiles three of his Life In Film pieces from the past to look at the years 1973, 1974, and 1975.

What shots or scenes in films do you just feel are aesthetically breathtaking, and they always astound and captivate you no matter how many times you see them?
One of my picks is this beautiful moment in Life of Pi - a film packed with so many sumptuous shots.

What geek stuff is the pride of your collection? Something rare, or just something that has deeper meaning to you? What collectibles or memorabilia do you love owning?

When I first saw The Exorcist I wasn’t a fan, finding it a huge disappointment after being told how good it was for so many years. On a rewatch years later I found myself loving it, and it is now easily in my top 5 horrors with regular revisits.
Are there any films you disliked upon first watch that you found a love for on a later rewatch? What films should we all check out again?

What shots or scenes in films do you just feel are aesthetically breathtaking, and they always astound and captivate you no matter how many times you see them?
My immediate pick is this shot from ET which absolutely takes my breath away each time I watch the film.

What are your favourite on screen spaceships and what makes them stand out?
For me, The Millennium Falcon will always take the crown. It's clumsy looking, unique in design (despite being a stock freighter), and still manages to look slick and sleek in tense situations.

For some reason I decided to give the new Scary Movie film a look. I had thoughts....
What movie mash-ups or crossovers would you love to see? You know, things like the long rumoured Jump Street/Men In Black crossover. Or when Freddy took on Jason? What wild combinations do you think would be fun.

Which TV shows that were remade and recast for a film adaptation worked well, and which ones sadly missed the mark?
Two examples: Miami Vice was great, but CHiPS was dreadful.
