My shed (made of old transport boxes) is really a great comfort in the garden.
The gas stove was bought in my youth and the cartridges for the gas still have price labels with Deutsche Mark on them. When they are all used up, I guess, the shed will become the new home for my old Trangia stove. That just needs some metho to cook, no metal cartridges.

Today I cleared some beds with parsnips and other veg. @MPaola@ecoevo.social pointed out that parsnips are regarded fodder in her home country.
The pigs of my frieds were I garden ran away first. After the second bucket with parsnips they awaited me with anticipation.
After everything said before, you might have a point there, @MPaola@ecoevo.social . 😉
The best ones were transfered to the seed bed for this year's seed production for next year's sowings. There were onions and beets in the bed already.
I spent a lovely afternoon in the sun talking garden with @Frau_Mensch@troet.cafe .
However, a question that followed me afterwards was, how can one not like parsnips?!
So @Frau_Mensch@troet.cafe here is another try, a recipe put together for tonight's dinner:
I hope this can win you over.
The recipe (in German) is sauteed potatoes and parsnips with chili, seasalt, lemon zest and fresh wild garlic. The taste of winter meets the aroma of spring.
