This time it was Knit Picks Dishie Twist in colorway Conch (a peachy pink twisted with white to make for speckled brown effects) again. Oh look, yet another set of dishcloths. This time again in was Knit Picks Dishie Twist in colorway Espresso (a coffee brown twisted with white to make for speckled brown effects) again. Finished knitting the green Allegro Shawl (thneed) for a coworker. I have completed the lacy panel and then sewed the end of it to the cuff. I made it with Berroco Vintage DK yarn in Scotch Pine (a dark, heathered green) that the coworker liked. The needles are now 7mm straight needles and the pattern involves purling across and then elongated knits back for a delightfully simple airy lace that knits up quick. #Knitting #AllegroShawl #Thneed

I have made good progress on the lacey knitting I am making it with Berroco Vintage DK yarn in Scotch Pine (a dark, heathered green) that the coworker liked. The needles are now 7mm straight needles and the pattern involves purling across and then elongated knits back for a delightfully simple airy lace that knits up quick. "Everyone needs a Thneed!" Thneeds (things you need) are delightfully ambiguous in that they seemed to have a place for one's head and the rest is just draping and imagination... So I started calling the allegro "shawl with a waistband" that can also be a capelet, hood, shrug, toga, etc... a thneed.

They're giving an AI companies a lump sum for something they designed a while ago, justifying a former lake boiling investment. The company with a rack of Mac Minis has eschewed the need to rent the AI equivalent of subsonic jets, and they aren't going to need to lease any future AI supersonic jets which are now testing and causing lots of supersonic booms and bubbly oceans and pissing folks off.

It's like Cryptocurrency in that there is a gamified "make a better word/number/pixel guesser that can do things faster/better/cheaper than the last one". It involves the same type of complex/inscrutable computing as code-breaking where you throw a shitton of computing power at a complex algorithm for days and can't tell how close it got to working until after it's done.

So of we find out that we can just buy 40 Mac Minis and put them in a rack to get great audio language processing for TBs of podcasts the next 5 years rather than subscribe to services that are gonna nickel and dime over data transfer and price hike the AI service (to pay for ocean boiling)... We'll do that and publish the study.

AI Companies are trying to now build/advertise supersonic jet aircraft to lease... Other Companies are seeking to lease big and medium sized normal combi jets for flexibility... And some regional carriers are just buying a fleet of small turboprops because they're only doing short routes.
