@joepbc@mastodon.social My point is that a lot of the examples he brings up are entirely self-inflicted. People could simply put their phones away in places where they don't enjoy being filmed. But they don't. Thus worsening the problem. Big Tech can fuck off, but they're not forcing anyone to have their phones out all the time. They're not making it impossible to date without apps. That's people, not tech companies.

I've always been impressed (and have taken inspiration from) their public company handbook. And this news is likely to erode all of my trust in them as a company and their product. Enshittification seems to be everywhere.
