Thank God I have #GNOME System Monitor, without which I would never have figured out the process that's devouring my computer's memory is GNOME System Monitor.

Another red and black "knights" image. Here both attack (4,0), (4,1), and (5,0) and their rotations into the other quadrants. The board is 4001 x 4001.

I found a big puffball in the woods! Except on closer examination it wasn't a puffball, it was a chunk of Styrofoam. Close though.

RE: @elduvelle@neuromatch.social

What a mission! Not just that they went to the Moon and back, which is phenomenal in itself, but just about everything seems to have gone perfectly. Some problems with the toilet and some inconsequential helium leaks, that's it. You can argue with the decisions they make and bemoan the delays but in the end NASA still delivers.

How to find out if it’s raining

Without using a rope

You use Python, of course, and the National Weather Service API (because of course you're in the US). It's fairly simple.

@nickzoic@aus.social @AceArsenault@fosstodon.org I'm in the thinking and drawing stages of something fairly similar. Probably a Jankó layout as described at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jank%C3%B3_keyboard but also see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isomorphic_keyboard for others. Not so compact because of its redundancy, but allows easy transposition and can be used for microtonality.
