This level of saturation is absurd.
I remember the 80's when you could properly absorb all the new music you were into. Incoming new releases would be on a list at the local record store by genre, we made our picks and even took chances on unfamiliar stuff that looked cool.
Lest we decend into a chamber of noise where we try to sell our music to each other all day, I'll just direct you to my linktree occasionally...you're welcome.

Scored a hardcover 2021 edition of this classic for cheap. I used to have an og softcover which I lost years ago.

I Just started to check this out. Definitely has some shining moments.

Revolutions per Movie podcast interview with an old bandmate of mine who also played with Roky Erickson. Some insightful takes on the doc 'You're Gonna Miss Me" as well as what it was like working with Roky in a live setting.

Same, I primarily enjoy vinyl, been collecting for over 40 years. I unfollowed about 300 bandcamp accounts recently. Bought loads of indy vinyl and tapes there going back 10 years, but I can't keep up with new releases and it's impossible to properly appreciate and live with a piece of music like we used to. Digital only releases are just not very exciting to me these days and 95% of it is mediocre at best. I don't even get excited to release my stuff this way anymore.

My Wipers tribute band is playing this bash at The Golden Bull in Oakland Friday.
