I migrated from 1Password to BitWarden, installed Linux on my MacBook, then went for a walk in the forest around the lake with the fam. How is your Labour Day weekend going?

"Bill C-22 is the Carney government’s second attempt, after an earlier bill folded under pressure to retract what was widely considered to be overly intrusive search powers."
We need to keep up the pressure to kill the third attempt, and others beyond 🔥

I’m in my hometown in the Rockies for the first time in 10 years. We had our 30th High School Reunion. So good to catch up with old friends.
Found what looks like a decent ePub conversion of the Pope’s encyclical Magnifica Humanitas in case you want to take some time reading and annotating it. That’s what I am going to do.

Get to meet my godson today. He is already 6 months old! Very excited 😊
Philosophers ranked by their punk credentials: I would put the Buddha a bit higher on the scale since his critique of the caste system, and the workaround he created for people to escape it, was revolutionary 🪷✊🧘👨🎤

@j12t sorry to have missed it. Today has been a battle of laundry and jet lag after getting back from 16days on the road.
Will there be a roundup post I can link to from the PfP newsletter?

TIL about this great project. They have chapters here in Vancouver as well as the Okanagan and many other places. Look at their map of clinics and the next time you #travel please consider taking a bag. There are special policies for humanitarian baggage. 🧳
Just saw Sennheiser released the Momentum 5. Looked at some early reviews but I need someone to test how it is for those of us with ANC sickness! I haven’t found a decent pair of modern headphones that don’t make me sick when ANC is turned on.
Just finished the first chapter of The MANIAC by Benjamin Labatut 📚
