I do prefer classic paper books...
I've yet to find any "eBook Reader" that isn't a huge downgrade in haptics and ergonomy, not to mention all these restrictions.
A book I can just open up and read anytime. No need for batteries!

reveals it's face through the clouds,
I let out a Sigh,
and I want to Cry out loud!
But Deep in my Heart,
I feel Love, so Alive,
In the depths of my Soul,
I know we Will Survive!
I'm the one, they want break,
in their greed and their pride!

@Netzblockierer@tech.lgbt @krutonium@social.treehouse.systems yeah, something like that.
Just something that is as convenient and simple as a stack of books, if not more convenient because it's weight is in grams, not kilos.

Seriously, if TMS were to let anyone do a "Spechal Collectors Edition" of CyberSix they should not only get the Soundtrack (without Sound Effects) on CD and add it in the package but also get the other ambient Soundtracks on it alongside a new recording of the "Full Lenght Theme"...
I'm pretty confident they still have those.

@petko That problem also persists for physical media:
Even if one were to legally buy the DVD or blu-ray of CyberSix, one would still have the problem that it won't play outside the region it was released in.
-
So >85% of all people cannot legally play the blu-ray version of CyberSix.
-
OFC that problem doesn't apply to those that ~obtained~ it elsewhere...

Interestingly, CyberSix is not available on LaserDisc, HD-DVD, HDVS, W-VHS or D-VHS but was only released on regular VHS, DVD & blu-ray.
The VHS version seems particularly obscure...

@tankgrrl @petko except three issues:
- One would still have to obtain an out-of-print disc and get it imported.
- That still doesn't fix the fact that it's not legal even if one owns the disc (at least in any juristiction that cares)
- If one has to pirate anyway, one may just torrent it anyway.
Granted, I don't shed a tear for companies that don't even want to sell me a legal copy.
It's just bad cuz I'd rather pay for a legit copy.
