There is now a by-election in North Vancouver in August. We elected a federal party who wants to build more pipelines.
This is what more fossil fuel burning causes in Cache Creek, Boston Bar, Manning Park.
Time to send a message to Carney.

That’s 7 out of 12 half marathons done - over half way to my half marathon every month in 2026 goal.

The last pipeline we paid to build didn’t stop the Alberta separatists. This one won’t.
It will destroy the planet and make US oil companies richer though.

I just hope at some point the rest of the world is able to sanction the US, US companies and its billionaires the way we do other imperialist nations, like Russia.

What the actual. Is there anything Carney won’t give up to the US?

@kumarvibe@mastodon.social its different, I didn't mind it at all. Had some new stuff, some old stuff.
Every iteration has been different, but the original radio series is by far and away the best.

For those of you who have seen Listers (and you should watch it if you haven’t) - saw the Three Toed Woodpecker on Tuesday, just hiking up a mountain and there it was.

Any idea what this bird is? Taken quickly with my phone this morning near Narooma NSW, Australia.
I thought it was a Laughing Kookaburra. But Merlin doesn’t identify it as that and the feathers are quite different.

Instead of banning people from using AI or social media, how about we regulate the companies instead?
Just like we do with almost everything else in Canada.
We’ve got another pipeline battle coming up. Now’s a good time to get politically involved and help out the non profits and political parties that don’t want to see the planet burn and northern BC ruined.

I mean I’m no fan of the Catholic Church, but threatening the Pope now. When will it end?

It’s not enough for just a Davos speech. We need active sanctions or action against the US and Israel by the middle powers.
I bet an impeachment would really juice the stock market.
So how is that $75 million bribe Amazon paid to Trump working out?
A couple of data centres in the Middle East aren’t cheap.
So when is the invasion of the US to secure the nuclear weapons gonna happen?

Got a reply: we put out a statement supporting the ceasefire.
Missing the fucking point.
Amazing deep dive into the bombing of the Iran school by the US and how it’s not about AI.
