With Adobe's subscription prices steadily rising to a ridiculous $70 per month and AI tools being pushed in more intensely, my urge to leave the Creative Cloud has never been stronger. The thought of abandoning all the skills and habits I've developed through decades of using Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, InDesign and After Effects is just infuriating. But what I hate even more is the feeling of being trapped inside Adobe's ecosystem, thus weakening my digital liberty.

@markarayner@mas.to this is not bad at all. Who's the author?

@sil which type of calligraphy are they interested in?

@cupz@mas.to thanks for the cheer up! Do you have any personal recommendations for FOSS alternatives to Adobe software?

@bt@mastodon.bsd.cafe that's something very cool! Can you please elaborate on the necessity of VPS for it?

@bt@mastodon.bsd.cafe I think I got the idea, thanks. What's the power consumption? Do you think it could run solely on solar power?

@peteorrall@mastodon.bsd.cafe @markarayner@mas.to because it was intended, and it works

@zm@mementomori.social Hi Kaamkiya, welcome to the IndieWeb! Nice website, looks sleek and clean. I suggest reducing the left padding in portrait mode on mobile. Other than that, it looks perfect. Good luck with building up the gallery!
