@zachleat @khalidabuhakmeh . How do we raise concerns about AI risks when the answer is always "more AI", "AI will fix this"? Merging bugs, merging 12000lines is OK, AI will fix it. Too much code to read? AI will summarize it. Merge conflicts skyrocketing? AI will fix. I feel a lot like the author on most examples

I realize that the different shortcuts are probably an upside here otherwise that would'nt work. I ended up stop using virtual desktops because my virtual windows environment is too slow anyway to run too many apps. Also experience is worse remote since you don't get the animations.

@ednl@mastodon.social @shanselman@hachyderm.io Funny thing about the shortcuts: whenever a colleague drops by and has to write some powershell on my computer they end up flipping the windows session away (mac switching virtual desktops) when they hit ctrl+leftarrow to move the cursor to the beginning of the line 😅

@ednl@mastodon.social @shanselman@hachyderm.io Yeah that's really a pain that shortcuts are soooo different between mac and windows. But somehow my brain gets used to it after a while and I switch back and forth without thinking (unless I'm really tired).
