Really want to submit to #phpday as well, but really wondering if I should do that. I'd love to be there again as it is the best European conference in existence at the moment, but the travel is quite long (I don't fly to conferences anymore, so I have to take the train).
I'll give it a bit more thought.

@paulshryock@phpc.social I love that. my current client does that as well, and in my company we also do that. it feels logical (common human interaction) as well as informational (I've started working!)

@heiglandreas@phpc.social My kids had an excellent experience with the train from Amsterdam to London. Cheap (because they picked the really early and really late ones) and no issues at all

@Girgias@phpc.social the European train system has a lot of improvements that still need to be implemented, especially when things go wrong. I hate fossil fuel slurping planes, but airlines have that shit sorted pretty well

@wouterla@mastodon.social that is most certainly more healthy.
I've been trying to drink less soda, and more sugar-free lemonade. Sometimes with more, sometimes with less success. But I haven't drank cola in quite some time

@squid@social.squiddev.cc @Philsturgeon@mastodon.green yeah, I've been following that, but so far it seems to be just the CEO, not the Proton organization. it's definitely something to keep an eye on.
My current customer has their own self-hosted Passbolt. It's UX is... meh, but it works

@Girgias@phpc.social and yet, despite all that, I am planning to take the train to #SymfonyCon in november. Apparently only one transfer (but in Germany, so that's asking for issues I guess). We'll see how it works.

oh come on people! "AI powered" is not the fancy sales pitch you think it is.
would you, today, advertise "powered by blockchain"?

@ploi@phpc.social thanks, I will have a look. I have more and more customers that want to get away from US tech. So a Dutch-based Forge-alternative with support for Dutch providers is perfect. I'll dg into the custom server setup, thanks!

@Philsturgeon@mastodon.green I've got everything in Proton Pass these days. Very easy import from 1Password, is my experience (experience is just over a year old)
Great thing about Proton is they also do email, calendar, VPN and more

@wouterla@mastodon.social indeed. and of course, making it easier to boycot them over their support for a genocidal entity. ;)
but yeah, if a quick scan does not give me a "zero" option, I won't pick it. I'll go with Pepsi Max (which is better anyway)
