I get this. What you don't count is that AI is able to rewrite that function in 2 minutes. Yes, ugly code, yes unmaintainable for a human, but after 300 iterations, which take 2 minutes each, you'll get a poor but working system, which no human can maintain anymore.

Probably a collision, if you modified the txt on both ends without sync. Open the web gui on both ends to see if any problems arose. Syncthing-fork does not show errors which are shown in the web gui. That is another reason I like BasicSync better, there is only the Syncthing web GUI.

It actually is, because both are just wrappers for the same Syncthing, honest. But you can try #BasicSync too, which again is a wrapper, but more resistant to Androids thread limits.

I'm not sure about the last part. Given the amount of people who just accept enshittification already as normal because it works most of the time, I think they also accept AI code just because there is seemingly no alternative since their voice is just too weak compared to Corp AI voice.

I personally used C for even the simplest tasks, it was easy to compile a short C program. So I used C essentially as scripting. That was before I learned AWK and I didn't look back since.

Ausserdem war schon SyncthingTray lange im business und dazu kam BasicSync hinzu als alternative. Beide haben den vorteil Syncthing als library zu verwenden und nicht als unter-thread mit dem ergebniss Android > 12 schiesst das process nicht ab wegen zu viel prozess CPU.
Ich persönlich bin auf BasicSync umgestiegen, es hat 5 minuten gedauert. Syncthing-Fork hat inzwischen schon vertrauen gesammelt, und es sieht schon ganz gut aus, neue versionen auch im F-Droid.

For quite some time I recorded every bike commute in the city via helmet camera. It was actually very useful in terms of witnessing. Also I uploaded all the dangerous situations I faced during the trip to YouTube. The goal of this was to actually make it uncomfortable for the drivers. I don't do this anymore though, because I changed the way I ride.
