Truth be told, I’m starting to lose interest in music right now. I’m seeing if my creative pendulum is swinging back to photography.

So I bought a Halide license and took my iPhone 17 pro to the San Diego Safari Park and had some fun.

I may need to buy a new camera.

@eyesquash@mastodon.world Oh, gotcha. The switch I’m using now would work the same way, no problem. From the outside, it looks and functions the same way as a standard switch. It’s just different underneath the surface.

@eyesquash@mastodon.world The problem with the Gibson style 3-way is the openness of it. Very prone to dust and corrosion. Of course, I could have bought some Switchcraft switches and had better luck, most likely, but they still are open to the same issue. I like the idea of the sealed switch much better. Not sure I know the sound of the stutter effect you’re talking about. Not part of my repertoire either way.

@jhpot I only started using it a couple months ago, so I don’t know how much it has changed. I like that it can sit as an applet inside of Gmail (my employer uses gsuite) and I can turn an email into a to-do right there. Or I can just use a keyboard shortcut to bring up the task creator window (using the app on macOS). All in all, it’s just a good way to make sure I don’t forget to do things.
