Seems like a big deal:
trump regime acknowledged in court that it canceled $7.6 billion in grants for hundreds of clean energy projects “based solely on the political identity of the grant recipient’s state” — 16 states that voted for Kamala Harris in 2024.
That contradicts repeated lies by Energy Secretary Chris Wright and other officials that the projects did not adequately advance US energy needs or had other problems that made them a poor investment.

Stuff like this bugs me so much. Emails should be proofed and punctuated correctly (other than where snark is intended.) It goes without saying that presentations and anything prepared for the public should be checked (3x at least!)
Can make exceptions for dialect, ESL, etc. Can't make excuses for laziness, sloppiness, ignorance.

On a more serious note there was a similar "hollowing out" across industry in the 80s, when first desktop and later, portable computers were introduced. No one noticed the demise of skilled clerical employees — most secretaries disappeared because everyone had a p.c. — the great technology awakening which was meant to usher in a new era of productivity.
