Webshit is shit because they aren't actually targeting the web, they're targeting browsers and mobile. The web turned into an abstract API, the Internet itself is middleware. On one end is a browser, on the other is a database, everything in between is a nebulous cloud. All the shit frameworks are the web equivalent of hiding that architecture behind "dev experience".

It seems to be the most readily available ancient grain in the USA.
Continuing my Uncle Ted rant, regular flour is dirt cheap, about $0.60/lb nationally. Amazon puts the fancier "organic" bread flour at $1.40/lb. To get unmilled grain like Einkorn costs nearly twice as much, and you have to buy in bulk, in season, to get it. And you still have to mill it.
I don't mind paying more money for better product, but I literally can't buy better bread in our so-called modern greatest convenience niche-catering economy.

It's like the Asian tiger moms forcing their kids to learn a musical instrument, because that makes them look well-rounded on college applications. Or the original wave of Indian immigrants forcing their kids into spelling bees and academic competitions.
I bet there's a site somewhere that lists Top 10 Things Successful Founders Did In High School, and it's been circulating the H1-B circles for a decade.
