@daringfireball@mastodon.social actually lost for words at the poll numbers from one of the links. That country has a lot of pain ahead.

@danieldk @buck @marcoarment really don’t like the ad path they’re going down. Their interfaces were so clean not long ago. Don’t need F1 The Movie clutter when checking sports scores.

Apple's Passwords App Gains Version History Feature

Apple's Passwords app is getting a handy new feature in iOS 26 and macOS Tahoe that should eliminate a particularly frustrating password management scenario. The Passwords app now saves complete version history for stored logins that have been changed, which could be a lifesaver if you find yourself in a situation where a password gets accidentally overwritten. Users will find a new "View History" button when opening any login that has multiple saved versions.

@arnan@mas.to it’s under Desktop in the filter on the download page. That should show Jellyfin Media Playerin the results. Which can be downloaded from GitHub.

I’ve not used it in a long time - don’t watch much on my Mac. But I remember it being functional enough.

@cwg1231 @jellyfin they outlined their policy a few months back when they saw a rise in LLM contributions: https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/contributing/llm-policies/

LLM/"AI" Policies | Jellyfin

The rise of LLMs as a useful development tool over the last year or so has been significant. The power and flexibility of tools like Claude Code and ChatGPT have given a lot of functionality both to experienced developers and new developers alike. But there are trade-offs.

@sixcolors@zeppelin.flights did the same a few years ago. Stopped all regular mainstream social media consumption. Much prefer it. Also, ‘a Glenn General’ meet ‘zOther’. Wish we could organise them freely in NetNewsWire without these hacks (although it kind of fits the whole old internet vibe).
