@pixelfed@mastodon.social Wow, the new Pixelfed app (v2.0) is incredibly fast now. 🚀 Everything feels smooth. The improvements — including on the backend — are clearly noticeable. Great job! I wish there were a landscape mode for the feed with a two-column (smartphone) or multi-column (tablet) layout. But maybe that’ll come at some point. 😉

Unfortunately, I can no longer use Microsoft Copilot as a web panel in @Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net for Desktop or on my mobile device in Vivaldi for Android. Microsoft is pushing users to use their app. This is so annoying because I really enjoyed using Copilot in the browser. @Jyoti@mas.to Roon seems to be the first paid solution mentioned in this discussion. As I understand it, it’s a standalone ecosystem for managing and hosting music libraries so you can enjoy music anytime, anywhere—even on the go. The various players mentioned throughout the discussion show just how many different solutions there are—from totally minimalist setups to full-fledged media centers with connections to internet services. Chrome already offers a basic form of multimedia control. Something like that would be a great addition to Vivaldi. 🎛️🎚️

@Vivaldi When setting up #VivaldiBrowser for the first time, the #tracker blocker should be preselected as the active option. This would benefit most users.

Unfortunately, I haven't had time to write until now. First of all, thank you for your efforts. I also suspected that it was due to a new version of Chromium, since Cromite wasn't working either. The Samsung browser, which did work, is still based on Chromium 143. Perhaps this information will be helpful. Please let me know if you need more information or if there’s anything you’d like me to test. I’d be happy to help.

After I logged into my account via the app, the app permission request appeared. After I granted all permissions, I was redirected to a URL, but the request resulted in an error because important URL parameters were missing.

@rebel1725@hostux.social Firefox and all its offshoots are not truly independent. They are heavily dependent on financial support from Google. The only browser company I can fully trust based on its philosophy is VIVALDI Technologies, and I know many team members who used to work at Opera Software.
