mastodon 4.8.0-nightly.2026-10-06I make videos sometimes, posts other times, and software yet other times. Supports BIPOC rights (& Black Lives Matter), LGBT+ (include the T) rights, disability rights, etc.
I make #Retiled (DE) & #coffeebisquit.
I love #WindowsPhone the same way I love #XenobladeX, despite both's issues.
My profile/banner picture is of Mitty, my longhair #calico that I loved and miss so much daily.

I miss when Firefox looked good (pre-Australis).

The most unrealistic part of Person of Interest is the public telephones.
This was in our Del Real chipotle honey chicken from Wal-Mart. My mom thinks it's a beetle.
If you're worried about your stuff performing poorly on the PinePhone, remember that its GPU is from 2008 and its speed is about 62% of the Lumia 520's GPU according to this page:

@MissConstrue@mefi.social This is why my mom and I didn't want to donate our bodies to science when I had this concern and brought it up last year and she agreed if I remember correctly.

@darkdragon It can serve as an example for browsers using it and/or if someone wants to use it as their alternate browser.

@EndeavourOS Until the EOS-to-Windows thing I thought this was real and I was thinking, "well, I guess I'll have to figure out how to do BTRFS snapshots in plain Arch when installing from now on."
I think if I were to run Linux on my main phone, I'd want to use immutable stuff like postmarketOS Duranium. Package updates and installations are cool and all, but I don't really want to micromanage stuff like that on a phone for the entire OS and have to pull out a keyboard if I need to fix things with an update.
I hope there will be a Plasma 6.6.6 update. It would be funny.
We need to talk about the Amazonification of online shopping with stores adding third-party seller options. First I noticed it with Wal-Mart in 2013, now it's with BestBuy.
I guess it loaded now but sometimes it says "Offline" even though I know it doesn't matter if the other stuff is offline so it has to be that my current thing is offline even though it isn't and Firefox is just saying it's offline because it's not very fast.

@mntmn@mastodon.social That's pretty flickery on camera. Looks smooth otherwise, though.

@system76 Liberty is also lost with California and Colorado because when they realize it's ineffective, they'll have the BIOS locked down.

@QasimRashid@mastodon.social Sometimes I think about how it's some sort of cosmic something that he pardoned almost 1,600 insurrectionists and the White House is at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
I think I figured out why BASIC used line numbers ending in 0: it's really easy to put them in an array if you can guarantee that each line number always ends with a 0 (just need to add 1 if the array is 0-indexed).

Installed DXVK in Winetricks but I'm not sure if that's important.

@kaidan@fosstodon.org For some reason I find it really funny that Arch is so far the only distro in the Repology table at the bottom of the page to have 0.15.

@matk@mastodon.social That feature request is so old, it dates to just before I got my first non-prebuilt desktop built and Linux installed on it.
Replying to
@Luminex@infosec.exchange I had to switch to the desktop site and I use Firefox, if that makes a difference.

Also had to set Wine to use a desktop at 640x480.

Might've done some other stuff that gave Wine some DirectX overrides too.

Turns out it does work with a modified OMT2.dll on the PC Gaming Wiki from the Speedrunning Discord thing. I have to run my laptop at 1080p with 225% scaling and set X11 applications to be scaled by the system for it to be fullscreen but it's not centered.

@jonsnow Couldn't even run that slop if I wanted to since my computer had a major CPU and motherboard upgrade in 2021 and it doesn't have an NPU.
Not looking forward to surgery.

@Natasha_Jay@tech.lgbt Somehow the cow reminded me of StephenPlays Photoshop and George Washington Cow.
I don't like when trailers for games I want are shadow-dropped because it means its existence is spoiled before even watching the trailer.

Had to set Kwin's fullscreen toggle hotkey and used Windows+F11 for it and that's what makes it fullscreen. If this and Wine's desktop aren't activated, you can't switch away from it at all while it runs since Alt+Tab locks it up.

@rosie_108@toot.wales Next time I can justify the gluten (or if gluten-free croissants exist that are good enough), I'll have to try this. Without the strawberries and cream though, since maple syrup is plenty of sweetness for my taste.
