@dangillmor@mastodon.social LOL, exactly. Who even asked for AI in Firefox? Just focus on stability and speed, and everyone will be happy

@Nonilex@masto.ai Overall, there’s nothing really new here — it’s already been shown many times that the vaccine reduces the risk of severe illness and hospitalization, even if someone already has immunity

@paco Damn, this is both hilarious and terrifying. 70,000 people handed over their documents so Discord could “verify their age,” and now all those files are just floating around the internet. Does anyone really think this is safe?

@alicetragedy@mastodon.social Honestly, in this heat it’s even hard to think, let alone work

@dgar It would be funny if it weren’t so sad.

@davidho That sounds worrying, to be honest. Losing that many scientists isn’t just about numbers — it’s expertise, experience, and years of work. The real question is where they’re going next and how this will affect things in the long run

@stux True. Most people aren’t chasing millions, they’re chasing peace of mind. So they don’t have to constantly worry about bills, emergencies, or ‘what happens tomorrow’. Money is more of a tool than the end goal

@perryhamilton@mastodon.social Nice list, but most of these exchanges are more about quantity than traffic quality. They’re okay for testing or warming things up, but for real conversions I’d look at native ads like MGID or other ad networks with actual users, not auto/traffic exchange traffic. From my experience, it’s better to have less volume but a more targeted audience — the ROI looks completely different then. I’d treat these platforms as supplementary rather than primary sources

@augieray@mastodon.social The Northern Lights have never been this honest😂

@randahl @everton137 I understand your point of view! Elon Musk's recent posts have certainly sparked a lot of controversy, and platforms should probably be more responsible when it comes to spreading information. If this petition helps improve the situation with misinformation, then it's definitely a positive step!

@burgerdrome@aus.social Modern computers are truly amazing! They store your data in 500 different locations and even send a copy to the FBI just in case. Sometimes it feels like they know more about us than we do ourselves, and all this comes with a ton of ads!

@QasimRashid Yes, that’s a very insightful point about how differently society reacts to different events 😞 and how selectivity in media and politics shapes our perception of crime and the “importance” of tragedies
