The GNOME 51 branch is now merged. I've also been working on adaptive mini windows to improve screen real estate and content visibility, now available for testing on main!

Mosaic + Miniaturization

Out of a fear of performance, I'd locked the mosaic into one "optimal" layout per window set. Rigid: you could swap windows but never change the arrangement. The cost isn't enumerating them, it's doing it naively. Split shape from ordering: a lazy generator yields every composition, gated only by whether it fits.
Now it's all reachable, purely additive. Drag reflows live, and Super+Alt+arrows retargets mid-flight. It still auto-tiles, it just no longer decides for you.

Não tô pedindo pra cantar "we are the world", só responder respeitosamente basta.

MosaicWM now reads the same MRU list alt-tab does. Miniaturizes whatever you haven't touched in the longest, restores whatever you used last. Focusing a window already protects it. And if the most recent one doesn't fit when space frees up, it tries the next ones instead of giving up.

A day to improve performance and make the animations feel smoother.

I implemented "mid-flight" behavior for animations so they aren't canceled when another movement animation starts, instead, the new animation begins from the object's current position during the animation.

Quedó filete, sí o no?
I tested #bootc on a cheap #MacBook Air A1466 to solve "MacBook driver hell."
Instead of manually layering kernel modules on each install, I baked Broadcom Wi-Fi, FaceTimeHD webcam, and thermal fixes directly into the container image during build.
The project is just a Containerfile, easy to fork and customize. If you're running an A1466 and want a bootc rebase that works seamlessly, check out the repo: https://github.com/CleoMenezesJr/bootc-fedora-gnome-macbookair
For those working on bringing Mobile Linux to life: what are the primary challenges you are currently encountering?

EN _ Is there any #PeerTube instance that allows live streaming? I wanted to do a live coding session today, but the instance I'm on doesn't allow it.
I admire all the people who make Pull Requests on the project that they alone maintain.
