Morning light and white blossoms against the blue sky. Janet Dyer's "Spring Trees, Airmount Road" brings a fresh, seasonal lift on a large scale.
This piece feels like a sunlit corner come to life. Bands of warm ochre and cool lavender suggest shifting light and a gentle breeze across the slope.
At 36 x 48, it can anchor a hallway or brighten a breakfast nook. Where would you hang it?

When you crick your neck to look up at the Freedom Tower in NYC, lines and angles read like converging unity, 25 years after that terrible day.
The upward pull and restrained palette give it a calm presence that steadies us.
These days, we all need some steadying.

Are you ready to meet a "Bold Grizzly Sharing the Road?"
I stumbled on this quiet spring moment along the Alaska Highway last year: a blonde grizzly, head lowered with a deliberate focus (thankfully not interested in me!).
Muted earth tones keep the scene calm—intimate in scale but holding the wide, untamed feeling of wildness. It asks for a slow look and rewards the attention.

Today the "Madman Theory" was confirmed to no longer be a "theory."
Trump actually IS dangerously insane. As in, Dr Strangelove insane.

Meet "Grizzly Bear Spring March."
I found this grizzly trucking along the Alaska Highway, searching for the first green shoots of spring.
The muted landscape brings the animal's quiet power and steady stride into focus, a small, wild reminder beyond our everyday paths.

I stand with this bright, unapologetic voice that reads "THE WHOLE WORLD IS LAUGHING AT YOU, DONALD TRUMP."
It's a laugh turned political, blunt, public, and a little gleeful even while it points to something serious.
Hands at the edges and a second placard that says RESIST turn the crowd into a single chorus.
It asks to be noticed on a wall or in a hallway, a conversation starter that keeps the mood sharp without softening the stakes.
"As Below, Boreal " by Tim Boese brings False Hellebore (Veratrum viride), also known as Indian Poke, into focus.
Broad, overlapping leaves arrange into concentric patterns, their ribs setting a pattern of light and shadow. Greens shift from pale lime to deep forest.
The pattern and scale make the ordinary feel deliberate.

Here’s an image I took last spring on the Alaska Highway in Yukon Territory: a black bear mid-stride, looking like it just crawled out of its den.
The steady forward motion and watchful, curious gaze hint at fresh beginnings and the small courage of stepping back into the world. I’d love to know where this image takes you next.

Plain and urgent: ACT NOW OR SWIM LATER.
This piece puts bold block letters on a clean field, a cut-blue wave across the lower third, as a hand holds the placard steady.
It's a practical warning—clear, direct, communal. I picture it on a wall where decisions get made, the kind of image that starts conversations without shouting.

Here’s a quiet slice of Alaska I'm excited to share: "Glacial Cold Currents," by Tim Boese.
Pale blues and compressed whites meet dark, rugged peaks while frigid currents flatten reflections into steady bands. There’s a calm, measured stillness—ancient-feeling and quietly fragile—that invites a longer look.
Every purchase supports independent artistry.

Come to a Mad Hatter's Tea Party!
Tall pines frame a sunlit clearing where a weathered red shed anchors an odd scene. A round table and mismatched chairs hold a pink rabbit and a mannequin in a wide‑brimmed hat.
String lights, a stack of lumber, and scattered tools keep it playful and a little off‑kilter.

Spring light softens the edges and slows the day. In Janet Dyer's "Cherry Blossoms" pale pink clusters hover over fresh green and a cool, distant sky, and brush gestures suggest a gentle breeze and soft depth.
I find the scene optimistic. It gives me a lift that asks for pause.
I host Janet Dyer alongside several other independent artists, and every purchase helps keep their work going.

Exposed layers of old glacial blue ice let us read time like a slow, weathered ledger.
Serrated ridges and aquamarine veins sit against a dark mountain band while softened reflections below double the hush.
Those layers let us look back into the changing climate over time, a quiet record of slow forces and small shifts.

Tim Boese's "Rusted Propeller in Sunset" presents weathered propellers resting on an Alaska shore.
Cool rusted metal reflects a band of gold while a distant pier slices the horizon and tangled greenery softens the base.
