@afelia.bsky.social Es gibt mindestens 2 Definitionen von "#Antisemitismus", die äußerst umstrittene #IHRA-Definition, die , nebenbei, lediglich eine Art Arbeitspapier war/ist und nie als fertige Rechtsvorlage gedacht war. Davor warnten sogar Leute, die an der Erstellung beteiligt waren. Trotzdem wurde diese, auch in Deutschland, als Basis von Gesetzen festgeschrieben, inkl. der "#Faeser-schen Maulkörbe". Ein großer Fehler wie ich und weitaus schlauere, auch jüdische, Menschen meinen, weil sie das "Lieblingspapier" heutiger israelischer Nationalisten und Faschisten ist. Plötzlich war ich über Nacht als Antisemit definiert. Im Jahre 2020/2021 wurde dann die "Jerusalemer Erklärung zum Antisemitismus" (JDA) ausgearbeitet, die versucht die unklare IHRA-Def. zu präzisieren. Dieser kann ich folgen und bin mit dieser im Kopf erziehungs- und bildungsbedingt wie selbstverständlich aufgewachsen. Lange bevor o.g. Definitionen aufkamen. Beide Begriffe, "International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance" und "Jerusalemer Erklärung zum Antisemitismus" werden auf Wikipedia ganz gut *eingeleitet*. Wer nun aber glaubt sich nach 10-minütiger Fortbildung sicher sein zu können, wer antisemitisch handelt, denkt bzw. sich äußert, liegt wohl falsch. Ich habe Tage gebraucht und die Hälfte schon wieder vergessen. #TrauSchauWem

This will prove to be interesting. The semanticians who create Israel’s messaging are among the best in the world. They have conflated #Judaism and #Israel in the minds of many people, so they can claim that any criticism of Israel is #antisemitism. Which is, of course, absurd as a logical argument, but very effective messaging. The #IHRA declaration seems innocuous, until you read the examples, wherein they say that criticism of Israel is antisemitism. The #BMA was correct in their vote. People under 50 may not have even met anyone who experienced WW2. Israel doesn’t have the same emotional weight that it held 80 years ago. They squandered it straight away with the King David Massacre, and they just kept killing, in front of three generations of people who’ve barely studied WW2. GenX and younger have never seen an Israel that wasn’t the aggressor. Yet, none of *us* conflate the two. We don’t blame Jews. RE: https://kolektiva.social/@oatmeal/116822695178344562 It's not unique to Spain of course, but we're told to accept that protesting genocide gets you in court, while denying it “gets you a column.” The IHRA definition brands criticism of Israel as antisemitism on remarkably thin grounds, yet, like in many other European countries, genocide denial still gets more deference.
