@jonpsp@mstdn.social @allpoints@mstdn.social @jtwcornell91@hostux.social @nickzoic@aus.social @pete@masto.hypertelia.com I must admit, I treat a dismount sign as "go at walking pace, and get out of walkers way"

@jtwcornell91@hostux.social @nickzoic@aus.social @pete@masto.hypertelia.com and still they step Infront of you.... If they walked on the right (as per HWC #2, and applied that to shared paths, then we would have zero issue. Especially when confronted by a group, who you pre advise with a ding and then half go left z half go right, followed by both sets thinking the other is right and swapping sides multiple times. Mean while their short arsed dog dives between your wheels :-)

@ClintonAnderson@universeodon.com @Cycling_Liz@mastodon.social @pete@masto.hypertelia.com no, they have priority. It's different. There is no right of way in the highway code

@Lydie Nope, not all, the UK has not got it yet, and may be delayed until after the the summer due to "some people my ignore the safety instructions and die in flames"

@rzeta0 I've used OO since it was Star Office. During the 2010s I used it exclusively for business, producing docs for end clients that want MS Word doc format out put. Sometimes it took a bit extra work, but less work than me having to format OO docs from Word. Bring back WordPerfect :-)

@EdCates @milesizdead @Em0nM4stodon people tend to talk louder on phones, as they perceive the caller to be further away. They never consider/understand the microphone is very sensitive and they can whisper if they want to. Besides, I blame "The Apprentice".

@aru@mastodon.illumos.cafe @lymenzies@fosstodon.org I went for Waterfox, covered all my devices/OSes (except Solaris). Librewolf is another option

@lymenzies@fosstodon.org it is a pain when it eats ram, and smacks power. Now they want to add AI. That was where they lost me

@lymenzies@fosstodon.org after many years of using it, it is time to move on. Derivatives are available, just not on Solaris.

@lymenzies@fosstodon.org yeah, but Firefox.....

@signalapp I've never felt unsafe sending a message on any platform/media. I don't think this message is meant for me

@Lydie it s actually more to do with us not having as good a standard of RCDs on new builds for as long as the Europeans. Which is the bit that people will not realise as they plug in to their older houses. Could get interesting.

@ClintonAnderson@universeodon.com @pete@masto.hypertelia.com @zebulonmysterioso@mas.to @Cycling_Liz@mastodon.social buses do. #HWC223
