@enfys@wetdry.world This is freaking awesome...! Congrats!

@leanderlindahl@mastodon.social @_elena@mastodon.social @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu Done. Weird that this is necessary though, good initiative - thanks.

@h4890 @troed Is it really? From what I have read, LLM generated code is bigger and performs suboptimal compared to human written code. Depends on the human too of course. What I find worrying is that the C-suite seems to have the hots for LLMs, hiring no or less juniors while seniors are leaving their field because of what's going on. Where do they think seniors come from?! The way LLMs are being pushed is eroding knowledge and I think we will be confronted with that in a few years.

@troed @h4890 Agreed on the tool, although MS pushing Copilot to all of my colleagues... Not a fan. Mostly because it seems to become a go-to thing rather than a tool. I do remember programming my ZX Spectrum with Eliza (IIRC), impressive at the time. In that regard, what's going on is very impressive. I just have feelings about jamming it into Excel when MS knows it might very well misbehave. I suppose the bottom line might be that you should know how to operate and interpret the tool :)

@Houl@wetdry.world I did my part on FreeBSD 15 today :freebsd:
