April and May can be beautiful with wonderful spring weather. Summer has a lot of events. Late summer has stinking hot weather. A lot of people like to visit during harvest but September can have heat waves. When we aren't flooding, a rainy winter day can be cozy. Plus a sunny day following rains is green and gorgeous.

Be sure Highway 1 is open. There have been a lot of land slides along the coast and hwy 1 can stay closed for months. : (
