(It does seem very vibe-coded as well, but it is funny)

@CyReVolt@mastodon.social Yup and the Rust version is missing features and signatures the Python version had, so I always have to fall back to that one anyways. 🫠

@altf4@hostux.social I was already suspecting that there must be something terrible about modding DECTs, given that I haven't found much, even though they are so present at the various hacker events 😅 But I'm looking forward to the challenge :Blobhaj_Default:

@liaizon@social.wake.st @yetzt@social.yetzt.me @bagder@mastodon.social I think so, yes! You can always append a dot (i.e. https://example.com./ is totally valid) and you do not need more than one segment to form a valid URI. So you could totally have that.

@jorijn@toot.community They certainly aren't that well known but I've stumbled across them a couple of times when looking at threads of search engine alternatives. I've been quite happy using Kagi and I do quite enjoy being able to prioritize (and even more importantly deprioritize or ban) websites in search results.

Hello fedi! I'm Vincent.
At my day job, I develop software for laser machines.
In my free time, I break other people's software, try not to break my own hardware & software projects, and run my slightly overengineered homelab.
I also have way too many unfinished projects and am somehow trying to finish my master's degree alongside all of that.
I'm looking forward to attending more chaos events this year and hopefully meeting fancy new people!
Feel free to say hi!

@fossdd@chaos.social I tried once, when I was still in school and tablet's were starting to become more common. Looking back at it, the code is quite terrible of course, but it was certainly a valuable learning experience. :dinosweating:
