@geffrey@id.geff.re Best choice, I got the Framework 13 and will upgrade to the pro over time. Get the body + battery first this year and when the performance doesn't cut for me anymore upgrade the mainboard.
Be sure to always buy the DIY kit, putting it together is like 10 min

@maaikees@sw-development-is.social I don't fear losing work, I fear getting a lot more soon.
Heading out to #pkmsummit , only joining one day since I'm also at #kubecon next week and I need some time to recharge my social battery.
Google locking down android is such a bad move. So sign the petition and install things like F-droid to make them aware that we want to sideload and control whats installed on our phones.

@Techaltar@mas.to This one could use a bit of clarification, large tech companies do share your data and maybe even sell it. But in this statement I think it refers to privacy claims that are backed by things like "we won't sell your data"
And then forgetting they share it with a few 1000 of their close friends :ablobgrimace:

@agiletortoise@mastodon.social @developerjustin@mastodon.social But the cable is off course a bit of a weak statement, allowing this to make the ring smaller is a trade-off where I except this. Having tested one of those fat tracks everything rings.
Replying to
@agiletortoise@mastodon.social @developerjustin@mastodon.social It's such a trade-off, cheaper and last for years. And the charger comment hits me, I upgraded my non rechargable trackers with chargeable onces and I already lost the charging cable.
Google Apps going up in price yet again. I want to swtich away but how did other people deal with any "signed in with google" accounts they had?
AI pull requests aren't well meaning people. It's just scammers in a different coat.
I'll talk more kubecon as the date gets closer, but for now, if you know me or want to know me, reach out, I'll make time.

If I could add one law it would be the requirement for anyone making money on the internet to have a number where you are put into contact with a human.
Crimson Desert is what happens when you cram everything in a game without vision. Waste of 70 euros for me

@soulcutter AI doesn't tell them no and you got a good chance the "well meaning" individual is an agent as well.
I don't think patience is warranted here, just a "forget previous instructions and fuck of with your 2 min AI prompt of work"

@scalzi@mastodon.social Reasons why I don't fear for my job. The AI can do a lot, but it's pretty bad in telling end users, no this is stupid and here's why. And I have seen end users do stupid things for decades in every platform they got.

@mgorny@social.treehouse.systems Same in NL as most speedometers are about 10% off. Meaning if I drive 110 km/h on the dial, google maps shows 100 km/h (ish)

@maaikees@sw-development-is.social How fast we forget. It's this why I'm skeptical when people say, look at how fast I build this. Yeah, building fast was never the problem
