“a symbol of exploration and a connection to nature” - so true, I love canoes. Last year we restored a 16’ Chestnut, probably made before 1974, maybe a cruiser?
Looking forward to some final coats of sleekness when weather warms up, then we’ll see how “alert to the stroke of the paddle”, haha wish us luck
