@macpsych@social.lol Congrats! You’re really inspiring me to start running longer distances again. I am a WAY slower runner at 45 than I was at 32 and that’s been discouraging, but I want to keep at it.
And yay for a run club!

@macpsych@social.lol Yes, the benefits are fantastic, plus races are just fun! 10k is my favorite distance to run as it’s not as quick as a 5k but not as exhausting as a half marathon.

@macpsych@social.lol Way to go, you crushed it! (And then crushed a bunch of beers afterwards, haha)

I love The StoryGraph and you should use it too!

August is Black Business Month. Here’s a great opportunity to support a Black-owned business…
Do you use Goodreads? If so, you can migrate to @thestorygraph@bookstodon.thestorygraph.com. You can even import all of your Goodreads data.
Nadia Odunayo is the founder and sole developer. Together with her small team, they’re making a great product that’s slowly improving over time.
So go support Nadia and co. instead of a fascist billionaire.

Sites that make any sort of noise, no. Please no. I'm easily startled and will close the page right away if your site makes any bit of sound. I didn't find it cute in the 90s when everyone had midis autoplaying on their sites and I don't find it cute now.
Got my run done this morning and I’m happy with the progress I’m making. Next up, time to enjoy some tasty coffee! ☕️

@binarydigit @robb I haven't ever used a left handed nib and now I want to know if it's vastly different! Also, team lefty!

@skullvalanche@gladtech.social I remember my professor talking about that in one of my rock history classes in college. He played the song over and over and talked about the different parts that were stitched together in this song. So glad I took those classes back in the day!

@bendaubney@social.lol I always have an annoying cough for a bit after I’m sick, so I feel your pain! I hope it clears up soon.

@hanabel I did it after I got laid off because I wasn't sure if it would actually put me in front of more people so I could get another job, but I revoked it and now want to see if there's a way to get my data out of there.

@skullvalanche@gladtech.social That was my parents' wedding song! And I don't think our professors were the same, unless you went to Indiana University and they hired him after I was there (2001-2003). Still, such a fun class!
