Meet SpeechAnalyzer! I’m beyond excited and proud to share with you the culmination of 2+ years’ worth of intensive collaboration by app, framework and modeling teams, working in tandem to develop a new speech-to-text model and API. https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2025/277
I posted about how the iOS development space is very white, male, and straight. A lot of white, male, straight people seemed to think this was me telling them they’re doing something wrong.
I said that I don’t see a lot of people like me in my field. If your immediate reaction to that is defensive in any way, you’re the problem. You need to examine why that makes you react defensively. That’s my advice on how to improve diversity. Interrogate your own bias.

Like peak cringe capitalism. “I’m pleased to announce” what, that you are employed?? Ok can I get an autograph
The urge to say “shut the fuck up” to literally everyone I see on the news
Happy Saturday! If you enjoy dogs please consider helping a family in Gaza whose dogs all perished in the genocide. They need help buying food and healthcare. Anything helps!

Genocide continues, violence continues, and it’s all tied to what’s happening in the U.S.
Mutual aid is how we resist and uplift. Help those in Gaza who have been the perpetual targets of colonial violence.

And is it cringe to call yourself a 10x engineer? Yes, except women never were called that, so I’ll reclaim it

It just feels extra stupid in a time where half my friends are out of work and folks are getting laid off left and right. You don’t have to use your new job as content for the timeline, just update your LinkedIn and move on
I learned that some people are actually addicted to misery and they will deliberately seek out things to make them sad. And reject any help you offer them. And that’s so sad. And I wish I’d known that before I blamed myself for the loss of friendships with people like that.

@shantini@techhub.social we barely got any shares on this, meanwhile i****l is bombing hospitals again. During a ceasefire. What are we doing.
One boat out of 43 in the Global Sumud Flotilla is still traveling to Gaza. They are 77 nautical miles away. You can follow them live here:

Hi. Don’t forget the Palestinians and don’t let them be erased. ❤️🔥 While we’re cozy in our homes, families in Gaza are living in tents and trying to survive flooding and malnutrition. Anything helps:
https://chuffed.org/project/hope-giving-circle
Circumstances have become even more dire for our friends in #Gaza trying to survive. Please consider giving a small donation to our mutual aid circle, and help with food, shelter, and healthcare.
Hi! These campaigns survive on many $5 donations. If you have $5 to help a girl in Gaza survive a gunshot wound to the head, please give
The families we help need us now more than ever. The border is closed once again and prices for food are skyrocketing. Help people in #Gaza afford necessities and stay alive. Everything helps, even $5.
We’ve posted updates on Retaj here, unfortunately she’s not doing well and suffering a lot of bad effects from the brain surgery. Anything you give will help with her care and food for her and her family

@lorihc@mastodon.social I feel like using AI coding tools has robbed some of this joy from me
Israel is carpet bombing Lebanon
Everything helps 🙏
Another amazing initiative!
Good morning! Help us support Retaj, a 16-year-old in Gaza who relies on donations to live, and who is struggling after being shot in the head. They barely get any donations and are desperate. https://chuffed.org/project/123284-serajs-fundraiser
Seraj’s sister is in critical condition after being shot in the head. Thank you for your help so far, let’s keep going! Reminder that they are in need of food as well as covering healthcare costs.
Unfortunately the blockade in Gaza means that once again our friends are going days without food. Anything helps - they’re able to buy food at exorbitant prices from the markets with our donations, which at least keeps them alive.
Wow

We’re matching donations this week up to $5000 to help pay for medicine, food, and shelter for people in Gaza trying to survive a horrible, dangerous winter.
https://chuffed.org/project/hope-giving-circle
Many people in Gaza had no food to break their fast throughout Ramadan, no gifts to give their children for Eid. While everyone pays attention to Iran and Lebanon, Gaza is also being bombarded and starved. Don’t forget them.

Thanks friends, let’s please keep going for this vetted family that we talk to every day. They’re running out of food due to the blockade of aid.

Spark Space is more than just a workspace; it’s a lifeline for many in Gaza. By contributing to their cause, you’re helping to provide essential resources like electricity and internet access. Every donation counts—recurring is most helpful! https://chuffed.org/project/spark-space-gaza
Eyes needed!!!!! Retaj is a child who was shot in the head...she needs constant care as she struggles in severe pain, confusion, and fear.
Anything helps. Hit “weekly/monthly” so the family can rely on help for her care in this horrible time.

We get like, 1-2 donations a day and that just means that we are letting people die. If you’re not ok with that, share this post and consider giving anything to help them.
https://chuffed.org/project/123284-serajs-fundraiser
Retaj and her family could use any hope you can give. $5 goes to keeping her fed and to buying the treatments she needs.
Still matching donations for very urgent needs of families in Gaza - food, medicine, housing. Give and have your impact doubled:

Many boosts. Zero donations. Please help by sharing and sending a few dollars if you can. #MutualAid #Gaza #Palestine #MutualAidRequest
We’re really trying to help these folks survive a genocide and it’s been so difficult to get anything for them.
Everything helps.
$5 in three days, we need to get more reach on this. Please help if you can, every $5 is so meaningful especially when added up.
This family is vetted.

Help us keep this girl in Gaza alive. She is running out of time to get the treatment she needs after being shot in the head. https://chuffed.org/project/123284-serajs-fundraiser
