@chrishuck@hachyderm.io Do you know about https://github.com/DesignWeaver3D/Detessellate I recently found it and have been using it for this very thing. It has a few other features that can be helpful as well.

@josefprusa@mas.to it seems a little disingenuous though when Prusa slicer won't allow other sites to open models in it. https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/13752 was closed as simply "not planned". Manyfold is a federated model sharing platform that wants to provide links to open in all slicers, but can't open in Prusa slicer because of this.

@geerlingguy@mastodon.social What software do you use with it? I've found tvheadened to be a bit clunky, and trying to figure out if there's arguing better.
