Not going blow my own trumpet here.
Here are things I like though: tech, making tech, learning tech, talking tech. hardware, software all the stack. tech. ... and at some point try to do something creative with that so I can brag: look, I made this!
In the past days I was iterating over an idea how to print a led matrix panel cube which's faces can be printed face down (for nice diffuser look). It turned out to be surprisingly not trivial and took me about 6 attempts with different approaches to land on a lego-style edge connectors.
@amadeus@mstdn.social oh, that looks quite clean. So far i have either been using cable (https://github.com/magillos/Cable) or coppwr (https://github.com/dimtpap/coppwr) - those aren't native GTK/Gnome apps though.
@rasterweb@mastodon.social I am not necessarily faster with the smaller one. I have equipped it with super light keys (25g) and having a smaller / less travel makes it overall less taxing. There is a learning curve to that though, took me 2-3 weeks to get somewhat used to it and then a couple of weeks tweaking the keyboard layout.
