High school often felt petty and confusing, but I enjoyed playing hacky-sack with my brother and a few friends.
In retrospect I see why it worked: skilled cooperative play with plenty of room to chat, but no apologies! Say "my bad" and keep going.
Recently I found out that the director of the Philadelphia Ethical Society is a decent hacky-sack partner. We had fun! I gave him my yellow and blue one.

When a person truly understands the nature of a cult, merely complaining about the leadership stops being enough.
I've spent the past few years working to re-orient around better principles. This year I found the #Philadelphia #Ethical Society. They also propose a value system: empathy, dignity, community. The name sounds dry but by comparison it feels like an oasis.
Yesterday voting rights protections were gutted. Today, states are setting up to redistrict ahead of November.
Being intentionally and consistently marginalized isn't my favorite, but credit to the voter suppression movement for having a vision, making plans and following through.

@pluralistic@mamot.fr short term. I wonder if the premise that an AI generated spec to AI generated code counts as a clean room implementation can't be challenged in court. AI is a tool, not a person: legally, what if one argues that the operational process is more akin to claiming that you read the code with emacs but wrote it with vim? Or perhaps I read it in English and sold it in French? That's not a clean room. That's tool operator accountability, a standard legal expectation.
