@gedeonm@mastodon.social This isn't about Apple. Apple has to follow the laws in the countries it operates in. This is solely a Trump issue. And also a federal government issue. The president should not have the authority to rename things like this unilaterally. But that's an entirely different discussion. However, your feelings about this are misplaced. Apple isn't on Trump's side here.

@gedeonm@mastodon.social No need to apologize. I’m with you on every point. I just don’t think we can blame Apple for caving on this minor issue in the scope of things. I feel like Apple is a victim here as much as anyone else. As you say, Trump is unchecked right now and he’s demonstrated that he is willing to use that unchecked power to punish those who oppose him. I still believe Apple is a positive force overall. I don’t blame you for your frustration though; in fact, I wholeheartedly share it!

All of my Timelines are switched to the Expanded Display Style. I can’t figure out how to change the default Display Style for a timeline now! What am I missing?

@mbonsma@mastodon.social This, as stated, is obviously incorrect. Otherwise the boxes that the puzzles come in would be larger in area than the assembled puzzle. However they are always smaller in area than the assembled puzzle.

@mbonsma@mastodon.social Sure, but not everyone is going to read the paper or the thread. I don’t see any reason the parameters couldn’t have been stated in this initial post. Not a big deal, but just pointing out that it could have been made clearer.
