I have the feeling that this comes from a fundamental misunderstanding of the topic.
Sure, if you use LLMs as a tool to produce 'code', you *might* find it useful. (Just like the techbro-rideshare will *move* you around)
But to have agency over your software, you need to work on the *system* that the code represents, and at that LLM's just fall apart.

Nein, LibreOffice stammt von OpenOffice ab.
OnlyOffice ist nochmal was anderes.

I don't know.
I hope they will see how google is just laughing at them now with such rules and take appropriate measures, but it seems this topic doesn't really get the noise it deserves.

@AlienJay@burningboard.net Oof, the data plans are incredibly cheap :D
Do i need to know anything about fee's, registration requirements or contract lengths with the card you suggested?
I'll check with my provider if they still treat the uk like eu-roaming, thanks for the advice.

Signal has an article about that.
Long story short: according to signal, there simply is noone else who is able to run the infrastructure at this scale.

I am traveling to the uk in the fall.
I'd like to stay online for 10 days, but i have no experience with simcards outside the eu.
Does someone have advice on what to get?

Sure, but how many people don't use non-stock/verified android?
The problem arises when open-source ecosystems like fdroid die out or dry up because developers quit building apps because they can't distribute them anymore.
This is *will* damage open source android apps, and it will affect those without sideloading restrictions too.
