Thus far I managed to avoid the Google Play Store on my phone... it seems that now Google wants to close Android, like Apple does iOS... take action! https://keepandroidopen.org/

@madskjeldgaard@sonomu.club in addition, using MIDI for large amounts of notes in short time spans is not the best idea.. it's simply too slow for that.

This weekend in The Hague!
Come & experience our annual exhibition!

The installations in The Ongoing Hum emphasise physicality as a vital approach for finding wonder in the seemingly trivial. By taking a deep dive into the characteristics of materials and the knowledge they carry, the works engage the whole body and its relationship to the environment. In doing so, they create moments of pause and sensitivity. In a time shaped by instant gratification, digital polarisation, and the numbing effects of the screen, these works ask for slowness, attentiveness, and physical presence – positioning embodied listening as an act of connection and quiet resistance.

@grahamdunning in Europe, I've used eurocitcuits.com mostly. And I design in KiCad, which is a fantastic open source software package. By now you can even upload the KiCad files to Eurocircuits, without the need of exporting to Gerber files.

@madskjeldgaard@sonomu.club MIDI rate issues have been in existence since its invention. Early versions of Waisvisz' The Hands could only interact with the Yamaha TX7 as that was the only synthesizer available at the time that could handle the amount of messages (which were sti within the MID specs. I imagine the issue you describe also has to do with the rate. Going through hardware, you have to respect the baudrate of MIDI, while in software, maybe it is not given. Receiving software may just react on whenever something comes in, expecting that the MIDI source respects a reasonable rate. And maybe the Virtual MIDI in MacOS is not ensuring that the source dies this?
