Synthesis: Homework and exams don't measure understanding of facts or semantics, and can be fooled by plausible-sounding bullshit. @xgranade@wandering.shop in school I had a friend that would just make shit up whenever we were tasked with doing research into any historical character and he was NEVER caught with it
