I won't pretend there was any deeper thought to this one than "I feel like painting some tits"
I would love to one day find out for myself what a kiss feels like, but while I work on the requisite social skills I can at least let my characters have as many smooches as they want

Thinking about lineart (prompted by @wrnyfyr@mastoart.social's cool work) and noticed that the two pieces that have felt like my biggest breakthroughs with line skills have featured mermaids. So in honor of #mermay, here they are, from 2020 and 2026

Changing up the way I delete old posts (autodelete still after a month, but now the only exception is manually made bookmarks, which I'll go back and delete after a year or so to save space on the server), and my old intro was well over a year old, so I took that excuse to put some recent favorites on display

@jnazarene Vastaava tilanne, merkityksellisiä ihmissuhteita suunnilleen nolla. Välillä se tuntuu pahalta. Mutta sitten kun miettii, että mitä jos sellaisia olisi, niin heti herää kysymys, että millä ihmeen ajalla? Työt on pakko tehdä ja itsestään ja kodistaan huolehdittava, ja vapaa-ajan harrastukset on niin tärkeitä onnellisuuden lähteitä että en niistäkään mielelläni tinkisi. Joten ehkä tää on kuitenkin paras, mihin rajallinen ihminen äärellisessä maailmassa pystyy.

@bestiaexmachina Totally agree with all of this. One feature I wish Mastodon had was different autodelete time delays for different types of posts - I keep sufficiently popular art posts around so that new folks can see what I do from my media tab, but I'd love if I could set those to go away after, say, a year to save space on the server. But I never got around to thinking through it enough to make it a feature request :neocat_up: Maybe I should just manually delete old stuff from time to time

@bestiaexmachina It's a blessing and a curse, the newer stuff is often nice to use but it can also be confusing when there's ten different ways to do any given thing 😅 But yeah I agree, tinkering with a website is great fun

@bestiaexmachina Cool, thanks! There's actually an HTML tag called that just makes a dropdown toggle like that for you, no tricks necessary :D I don't think I'll be needing to borrow code (I'd have to do some work to adapt it to my static site generator anyway) but I appreciate the offer

#ArtFight revenge for KBDraws92 featuring their cool and relatably reclusive dragon lady Mirana. I started the month strong managing to keep it simple for two whole attacks, but couldn't resist the urge to paint a whole-ass landscape with this one lol

Another ink thing of experimental nature for #ArtFight, this one featuring @ghostcatte@mastodon.art 's Lady Inferno! This paper was not pleased with the amount of ink and water I put into it lol, I'll have to use something different for more serious work in this style, but it was fun :D
