Cannot believe I did not discover this one until recently. Pan-european news really needs more Attention.

@dboehmer ich weiß nicht, ob es Weimer hier wirklich darum geht, das Gedächtnis der Nation zu beschädigen. Fürchte eher, er glaubt wirklich, dass analoge Werke einfach für nichts mehr nötig sind, wenn es digitale Alternativen gibt. Über die Vergänglichkeit und die Möglichkeiten zur Manipulation eines rein digitalen Archivs macht er sich vermutlich einfach keine Gedanken & das ist der eigentliche Skandal: Er denkt für seinen Job schlicht zu Unterkomplex.
Almost finished #projecthailmary and the most unrealistic part is that Humanity comes together to face a common threat, agreeing that monetary cost doesn't matter in this case.
Andy weir spent so much time to get the science stuff right, he forgot to turn on the news in the last 10 years.
And this hopeful perspective is by far the best part of the whole book. Really enjoying it so far!

Well, I read through the last 100 Pages of #projecthailmary in one Session. Probably the best book I have read this year so far. A bittersweet Story about Hope, friendship, sarifice and the awesomeness of space.
Looking Forward to see the movie!
Gerade das erste Mal beim Musik Streaming versehentlich auf eine reine AI-Band gestoßen... Natürlich ohne jeden Kennzeichnung.
Zieht meine Laune schon etwas runter. Ja, streaming Services zahlen ohnehin schlecht. Aber jetzt verhindern auf gestohlenen Werken basierende AI-Bands auch noch, dass ich die echten Künstler entdecke und vielleicht durch Konzerttickets etc. unterstützen kann. Gefällt mir überhaupt nicht.
Ob da jemand vorher beim #CCC nachgefragt hat? 🤔😄
