K-ZO da Snowman

#SanFrancisco #plant alert! Yerba Buena Gardens was gonna throw away hundreds of drought tolerant plants used for a Pokemon event. Workers are giving away plants to folks. Get your plant-loving ass over there now to swoop some goods. Right in the middle of the lawn area, can't miss it. Pinche waste of capitalism.

@NaClKnight@c.im guh, sorry these bastards exist and the fedi community doesn't do more to stamp it out.

@luckytran@mastodon.social Thanks for flagging that and providing alternatives. It's also unfair to incarcerated people, who regularly experience actual physical loss of agency.

@emilymbender@dair-community.social this was key in helping talk to a friend about their LLM use. Acknowledging the need and lack of social support and offering real human connection and aid instead helps them feel emotionally safe and heard. Then they're open to listening to the moral theme, because their needs have been acknowledged or met.

@beadsland@beige.party if I could quote this, I'd call it a banger thread. I will anyways. BANGER!

@beadsland@beige.party true, thanks for the reminder! Thanks for wading into the comments section.

Mask required vogue ball last night, mask required old way class today, mask required disability pride celebration today, mask required Afro-Latino dance party today. The Bay is SPOILED for #CovidSafer events. #MaskUp #

@mekkaokereke@hachyderm.io It's going to be so grim here. Really really hard for people to understand the scale of how much worse it will get for USians.

On my #MakeATerribleComicDay bullshit

@sarahtaber@mastodon.online great vid!!!

@gcvsa@mstdn.plus car free babyyyy!!! It's the way to be. Solidarity in putting money where your mouth is.

@msbellows @thewoodbinewitch goddamn that's good.

@inquiline the character 9 from 9 (2009 animated film) https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0472033/

Huge new fan of Tayamni Goodshield, some ANISHINAABE//OGLALA//YOEME boom-bap. And you can buy the music on Subvert or Bandcamp. https://www.subvert.fm/tayamni-goodshield #HipHop

@xgranade ah, that's a good way to think about it! Thanks!

@Jontofski@mastodon.art ripping good

I instead looked for Booby Hammer's "Ray Day" (fucking slapper). Looks like MC Hammer's son took his music off the internet. Noooooooooooooo

@aimee@mastodon.nz wow, very cool. shitty that they have to appeal to crowdfunding.

@Deixis9@beige.party Eli's Mile High Club in Oakland also is not accepting LLM-generated show posters.

@eliskunk@queer.group a lil more work: you could grab a stack of address labels from USPS and write your own styles/designs on each sticker

@LexYeen @coppercrush @inthehands @sunguramy Yup, I saw Sunguramy's posts and stopped using iNat. I have yet to delete but seriously thinking about it. I was just doing observation shitposts on there anyways.

@GoblinHellion@mastodon.art hummingbirds, the pit sized packs of aggression

@gcvsa@mstdn.plus that's so low wow!

@agnes@pdx.social You deserve it. The ume's got to be sour/salty, right?

@sundogplanets congrats! Your yelling is much appreciated! I've learned a lot from following you and share with folks what I can

@nasamuffin @iFixit same!!! boosting just so other folks can get a crack at this awesome tool kit and keep their devices working long and strong!

@inquiline I think their demise canonically restores life to earth, so hopefully we're in that timeline

@davidgerard@circumstances.run I'm feeling an urge to pull up to the bumper, baby.

@dasparky I think they re-up it occasionally!

@Ailantd so moody!

@GhostOnTheHalfShell @kajord ooo I did see that in some of the comments on Bret Devereaux's blog about the themes in LOTR. Pinche Thiel.

@firestorm Feel free to send them at the Sustainable Economies Law Center (https://www.theselc.org/cooperatives-resources) or U.S. Federation of Workers Cooperatives (https://www.usworker.coop/en/)

@franklinlopez I'm looking for something similar. Reddit has been a big help. https://www.reddit.com/r/DigitalAudioPlayer/

@weatherwest@mastodon.social congrats!!! you deserve it for sure, what an effective communicator and advocate!

@grimalkina@mastodon.social hell yeah, get your money back.

@agnes@pdx.social holy moly dude you did so much

@agnes@pdx.social my lil bro's most popular IG story ever was asking this question. Soooo many responses and learning for non-rice cultures

@andnull this this this

@beadsland shocked, I tell you.

@franklinlopez@kolektiva.social yup!!! I've heard a little bit about meshtastic and am watching your explorations with Meshcore with great interest. Gonna buy a module to play around with probably.

@franklinlopez@kolektiva.social congrats! I just bought myself a HIBY R1. https://store.hiby.com/products/hiby-r1

@kajord hmmm. Is the fact that Tolkien is so often exploited his fault? A fundamental flaw in his writings that attracts technofascists? Similar to religion I guess. As you say, a Tolkien reference is now a good flag for evil

@scott @vampiress huh, I wonder if that's where Void Bastards got a similar mechanic.
