New year...new Fediverse?! Hello! I'm Joe (They/Them), a UK based nerd. :) By day, I work for the UK's Government Digital Service, by night...I am interested in a lot of things, including #FOSS, #dogs, #trains and #boardgames. Looking forward to getting back into using Fedi and getting to know people. 💜

@evacide@hachyderm.io @kariboka@mastodon.social @lattera@bsd.network getting family and friends to switch to whatsapp was enough of an uphill battle - I consider it a victory and use Signal for technical friends and/or anything sensitive. 🥲

Late start to day 2 of #FOSDEM, but the hallway track is the best track. Gonna be listening to the retrocomputing talks, sounds really interesting. I've had such a good time. :)
