Life goals: I saw Meredith Monk yesterday, she played almost all my favourite songs. I even got to have a little chat in the end 🥲
It’s been a while, but for anyone who was waiting for this medium-term nerdy report: I ended up having more success with #MeshCore than #Meshtastic, at least in my area. It seems the former has grown a lot since last year.
For those who’ll be around The Hague in April, I’ll be playing at Rewire on Saturday, April 11! And you can get to see @kmru@mastodon.social too on Sunday the 12th. And many other great artists in this packed line-up. See you there.

I'm glad the very first track I ever composed (🥲) found a safe place on this upcoming XKatedral Anthology Series III that will be released on April 10, alongside tracks by Kali Malone, Maria W Horn, David Granström, Mats Erlandsson, Stephen O’Malley, Theodor Kentros (@tkentros@social.ordinal.garden) and Daniel M Karlsson (@t36s@social.ordinal.garden).
Additionally, there will be re-presses of the two previous Anthology Series editions.

Second time in my life I find myself near a shooting now. You’re never really prepared for these things. Except working on your running skills I guess…
« AFIELD, Arts of the Working Class, and Framer Framed invite Europe-based artists, cultural practitioners, and collectives working with communities affected by human rights violations to apply for a €10,000 grant and 6-month fellowship.
We're selecting 6 practitioners with initiatives that engage deeply with truth, memory, repair, and accountability to imagine justice beyond standard legal or institutional frameworks.
Selected applicants will join AFIELD's international network of socially-engaged artists, contribute to a dedicated issue of Arts of the Working Class, attend a 7-day residency at Framer Framed in Amsterdam, and participate in regular, online thematic meetings. »

If you’re in Amsterdam: La Novia is presenting some of the music we worked on together last year tonight (Saturday) at Sonic Acts, as part of a double program featuring music by Nancarrow. They are joined in this project by Nina Garcia and Clara Lévy. Also performing the same night are Laura Ortman and Dylan Kerr.
