I want a tattoo done. I need an artist. They do not have to be the tattooer. I just want to be able to turn up with a mostly ready design. How do I do that when I don't have any socials other than Mastodon? #TattooArtist #AskMastodon

Wow. Australia made a limited run of pinball machines in the 70s because US ones were too expensive to import. World first Star Wars machine! Never seen any of them. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-03-12/pinball-machines-collected-nfsa-hankin/105971386

@pussreboots@sfba.social @Artsbyevelyn@mastodon.social It would be a re-design/cover-up. I have a southern cross tattoo I would like a bit more hidden. I am a nerd and would love some of my fandoms in there. I also am a chemist so some periodic table would be fun. Retro gaming, Zelda, d20 dice, space, Star Trek.
That being said, I love the idea of a pirate ship and octopus...https://i.pinimg.com/originals/85/7c/b7/857cb76f2e26d518936904a9b1497e7e.jpg

@ArtByPatrick Had a mate put me in touch with a local tattooist. Thanks for option though.

@Artsbyevelyn Will measure it up and send you a picture when I get home. As a memory, 20-25cm long, maybe 15-20 wide. Right side, lower back. 3mm ink, black stars. Had a friend suggest instead of fully covering up, try and use the space between the stars so if you look you still see them but the constellation is in amongst stuff.

@ArtByPatrick@mastodon.social Your folio looks fun. Now that Mastodon has done the thing I wanted it to do (connect some artists) I am going to look at a few other people's stuff. I will get back to you.

@Artsbyevelyn 2 months? I am looking at a few other artists (thanks to all the Masto shares!) so after I have poked around a few more folios I will let you know. Thanks so much for the interest!

@ArtByPatrick Would it matter? If the tattoo artist is transferring it is one easier than the other?

@joannaholman I live in Thailand. Most of the artists here just do what you ask them. Good to know though!

@apzpins@some.apz.fi Not really. Ice teas are super popular, and the Korean yogurt soft drinks are here. I am more a snack girl so have more of a background in different flavoured chips.

@CM30 I think is had a huge fan service/nostalgia, but was a bit too busy. Less good than 1, but not terrible at all. 6/10?

@grzegorz I did learn more about this site. Super useful! Not sure if I am ready to gamble 5hr of time with the bank if Lineage does not support my bank app, but if it is for the greater good..
I am going to attempt to put LineageOS on a Samsung A52 today. Other than the instructions on their software page, anyone got a good tutorial video to also use? #degoogle #LineageOS #SamsungA52 #tutorial
In case people are suffering from search engines giving them crap results, just thought I would remind/introduce you to Boolean searching. I have used it since the 90s (was taught at high school) and always use it.
Free lesson 1
- and - symbols Any word you type in a search bar is looked for. The fewer words you use, the better. Adding these symbols force the results to only show pages with/without those terms.
E.g. tutorial switch +2026 Should bring up any site with either first 2 words but they must include 2026
E.g. longlasting lipstick -revlon Should bring up any site with the first 2 words but nothing featuring revlon

The gym currently brings me no joy. No motivation. No endorphins. It is a chore I don't enjoy. Anyone got and #GymTips ? Need to enjoy it again.

@coldkennels@mastodon.social Mine broke when I decided to use iTunes on my Win10 machine to finally update the music for the first time since 2010. It then started clicking and died. Wish I never tried to update my music :(
Went to an emo gig. They played Linkin and Limp and Korn along with MCR, Panic and Avril. So confused..

When you see friend you have not seen in years and then think, "I don't actually want to be friends with you."
Had that last night.

@Shonumi@mastodon.social @endrift@social.treehouse.systems Are the coloured shells different? If you have 4, are they part of a colour collection?
